Fall Kids On The Farm

Happy Fall everyone! As the seasons change we see many changes here as well. On the farm we have a kidding season in the fall and again in the spring. This fall our first kid was born from Hula, a Nubian doe, on October 2nd and within a couple weeks the season ended with a total of 17 kids born. Though much smaller than our spring season where all the kids pens are full, it is nice to have one of the pens lively with cute playful kids this time of year.

Kaikoa loves visiting the kid barn on his daily walks around the farm. He has also been enjoying jumping in the fallen leaves and of course still picking the remaining apples and pears for a snack during his farm adventures. We also still have some beautiful fall flowers for local bouquet orders and our personal enjoyment.

Though we are not offering tours this fall, we look forward to offering our annual spring tours in 2025. We hope to welcome you to the farm then, with Kaikoa as your farm tour greeter!
